Climate

  • Decided: room temperature regulation runs locally in the KNX layer; HA and scenes write setpoints/modes only. Thermostat = F 50 room controller in each climate room (wall controls); LS Touch hubs are remote UI, not loop owners. The decided RC positions:
  • Kitchen — 2.3: north wall at thermostat height, the sheltered sensor spot; floor-probe conduit → its wall box. Its warm-floor zone includes the back hallway — one shared loop, no separate back-hallway zone.
  • Pavel's office — 5.1: entrance cluster, the sheltered spot away from the north glazing; floor-probe conduit → its wall box.
  • Boudoir — 12.1: entrance cluster; floor-probe conduit → its wall box.
  • Kid's bedroom — 17.1: on the south wall of its short entry passage, about 20 cm from the main-room opening; floor-probe conduit → its wall box.
  • Ekaterina's office — 18.1: same short-entry-passage geometry as 17.1; floor-probe conduit → its wall box.
  • Master suite — 13.3: in the master-bedroom hallway, near the bedroom entrance; its two independent controller circuits split the suite — circuit 1 = master bedroom + its hallway (one shared warm-floor zone, plus the bedroom's AC sensor/setpoint/mode/fan UI), circuit 2 = master bathroom's floor (the bathroom has no AC of its own).
  • Remaining actuator zones (wet rooms, corridor + laundry, both warm-wall zones) regulate in the heating actuator's integrated controller channels — verify chosen actuator has per-channel RTR with sensor inputs.
  • Dressing room 16.1 has no wall RC: the room has no AC; if its probable warm floor becomes an independent zone rather than joining the master-suite loop, the control/sensor approach remains TBD with that zoning decision.
  • AC control pattern (decided): the Daikin runs its own loop; the room's F 50 acts as sensor + setpoint/mode/fan UI. Hard requirement for the AC gateway choice: must accept an external ambient temperature reference and expose setpoint/mode/fan-stage objects. Fan-stage policy at walls (decided): no dedicated fan buttons anywhere — fan runs Auto, driven by scenes/assistant; occasional manual override via the RC's built-in menu or the LS Touch hubs, not via buttons.
  • AC — equipment decided: 2× Daikin FBA50A9 ducted inverter units (hidden installation) + 5× Daikin FTXA25/FTXA35 wall units. FTXA size split and integration path (S21 / P1–P2 interfaces, KNX gateway vs. HA-side): TBD.
  • Warm floors — decided: zoning confirmed. 13 loops across both floors, 14 if the dressing room becomes its own zone (open — see below): Pavel's office (5) · kitchen + back hallway (2+1, one shared loop off the kitchen RC) · living room (3) · guest toilet (6) · boudoir (12) · corridor + laundry (10+11, one shared actuator loop) · master bedroom + its hallway (14+13, one loop off the master-suite RC's circuit 1; dressing room (16) may fold in here or get its own zone — TBD) · kid's bedroom (17) · Ekaterina's office (18) · master bathroom floor (15, master-suite RC circuit 2) · kid's bathroom floor (19) · warm wall, master bathroom (15, actuator-driven) · warm wall, kid's bathroom (19) — probable, TBD. Heating type/source (hydronic vs. electric) and zone actuation hardware: TBD. Floor NTC probes laid in conduit before screed in every zone; wall probe for each warm-wall zone.
